We are offering privately 16
bred heifers from our 2008 calf
crop. These heifers have been
developed in the “real world”
running on grass all summer with
no supplemental feed, cubes or
tubs. They are the best set we
have ever raised and they will
make a good set of brood cows.
They were AI bred to OCC Homer
on May 13, 14, and 15. He is the
easiest calving heifer bull we
have ever used and his daughters
are proving to be outstanding
cows. They were sorted into two
groups and pasture exposed to
two low-birth-weight sons of DCC
New Look. They were preg checked
September 23.
They are daughters of OCC
Emblazon 854E, a bull the entire
Angus industry has finally
discovered, OOC Juneau 807J and
DDA Emblazon 27C, our favorite
sons of OCC Emblazon 854E. We
also have a few daughters of
Koupals Mo Co, a really good son
of OCC Juneau, and Duff New
Edition, the sire of the top
selling bulls at Duffs sale.
These heifers will make an
outstanding set of easy-keeping,
moderate-framed cows that will
work in a purebred Angus
operation or as a base for club
calf production.
You can purchase just one or as
many as you want to sort. See
our list of heifers for more
details or give us a call. |

Sire: OCC
Emblazon 854E
Dam by: Connealy Dateline
Here is one of our
favorite Emblazon daughters that
is really deep sided with a
brood cow look. Her dam is our
best Dateline daughter and her
maternal grand dam is a 13
year-old pathfinder that is
still in production. She is safe
to OCC Homer. |

Sire:
Koupals MoCo 253
Dam by: OCC Broadsides
She is sired by
Koupals MoCo, an Emblazon
grandson that is doing a great
job for Laverne Koupal in South
Dakota. We calved our first MoCo
daughters this spring and they
are really good. This one will
be as well. Safe to OCC Homer. |

We calved several
Juneau daughters this spring and
